Here we are again in the waters of the Sicilian Channel, about 10 miles southwest of the island of Lampedusa, to document another important victim of the war of Convogli. It is a great privilege to be among the first to relive this page of history.
It is the motorboat Marin Sanudo, Italian merchant torpedoed on March 5, 1942 by the British submarine HS uproar while sailing on the Naples-Tripoli route to transport supplies to the German troops in Africa.
