The book is the result of years of work, commitment and passion of many friends that over the years have contributed to this project. It begins in 2006 with the study of the first wreck-the Bowesfield-one of the best known diving spots to the local underwater community. Thus grows the idea, immersion after immersion, to give a name and a story to other of the many wrecks in the strait and that we often visited by simple curious spectators.
The historical research made at the table on books, documents and newspapers is completed and supported by the data obtained in the field during our underwater activities. But the real goal of each research is to share with all the fans.
Thanks also to this commitment, these wrecks are now protected by special regulations that preserve their integrity.
