Identified the “Cannitello Ship”: The Alvah
23 July 2009
Today we publish the result of a work that lasted about a year and allowed us to attract a name to the wreck that lies in front of the beach of Cannitello.
It is the Alvah, an English ship that was shipwrecked in 1895 following a collision in the Strait of Messina.
We publish a document that we have prepared to illustrate the research conducted.
After the Bowesfield, July is confirmed the month of identifications for our team that, remember, takes advantage of the invaluable support of the Friends of A.S.D. Neptune.
