Just below the Castle of Scilla, the highest point of the beautiful seaside Calabrian, where water and rocks touch each other, the bottom sinks towards the sea, creating a huge franata excellent diving place especially for beginners and enthusiasts. You can meet species of all kinds and sizes: Parrot fish (cretense sparisoma), groupers (Epinephelus marginatus) and many others.

The rocks are crawling with small life forms like the nudibranchs. In the most superficial area it is possible to find small communicating caves, with very suggestive reflections of light where small fishes are hidden in search of shelter.
