THE FRENCH SHOAL

On the Calabrian side of the Strait, near Favazzina (RC), between the 45 and 65 meters of depth is a dry that offers encounters to say the least exciting. Discovered by the French led by the Commander Cousteau, the French Shoal leaves breathless for the vast black Coral Prairie (Antipathella Subpinnata) that typically finds itself at greater depths. 
Numerous white colonies, which fluctuate at the mercy of the currents, often very intense on this site. A short distance from the colourful red and yellow gorgonias. To make this immersion even more particular the presence of Laminaria.
